RCMP Sergeant Major’s Parade

It's an RCMP Parade. Experience the dedication and attention to detail of the RCMP cadet as they are put through their daily drills. You must register at the RCMP Heritage Centre by 12:00 p.m. in order to take in this RCMP only experience. You will watch as the drill staff put cadets through their routine. The parade inspection of the troops and role call and is accompanied by
the cadet band.

A few things to remember:

• This is part of the Cadet Training and the Sergeant Major does have some Protocol: 
• This event is part of the admission to the RCMP Heritage Centre
• If you wish to see the Parade you must pre-register at the Information desk at the RCMP Heritage Centre before 12:00 pm.
• This is an outdoor event, please dress accordingly and bring a lawn chair( In summer )
• During the winter or in the case of inclement weather, seating is provided in the Drill Hall
• Guests with disabilities or that require additional assistance should plan to arrive early so that our staff can ensure a spot on one of the Centre’s wheelchair accessible people movers to escort you to the Parade
• Registration will allow adequate time for all bags to be stored in lockers and Heritage Centre Identification Tags to be issued to all participants
• Cameras, cell phones and water bottles are permitted on “Depot” grounds
• Tours will depart from the RCMP Heritage Centre at 12:15 pm sharp, Tuesday through Friday
• Guests are not allowed to attend Sergeant Major’s Parade when not accompanied by authorized personnel

This event is included with admission to the RCMP Heritage Center.
