Brainsport Times Feb. 14, 2018
Happy Valentine's Day to every one! As mentioned in last week's Times we're excited about this evening's Brainsport Run and Beer Night. The fun will get underway at the regular 6 p.m. Run Club time, followed by 9 Mile Legacy Brewing Company pints, served by our neighbourhood friends over at Leopold's Tavern.
Tyler Richard from Saucony is joining us this evening as well! He's going to bring a bunch of test shoes with him for you all to try out on this evening's run, if you'd like. He's also going to be giving away some brand new pairs of Sauconys!
In this week's Q&A we're going to speak with Tyler to learn more about what to expect this evening from Saucony.
Q&A with Tyler Richard
Tara: We're expecting this evening to be a great night for everyone, and we're very excited to have you joining us. What sparked your interest in doing this event?
Tyler: With Saucony we say “Run Your World” and that entails being a bigger part of the run community. Brainsport and Saskatoon have such a strong local vibe, I wanted to connect in a way that felt more real than simple marketing images. I wanted to be here in person and be a part of the fun had.
Tara: What test shoes will you be bringing with you? And who is welcome to try them out?
Tyler: The shoes planned for the evening will be the men’s and women’s Peregrine 7 ICE+, the Peregrine 8, the Freedom ISO and the Liberty ISO. All runners are welcome to try these models on their run that evening.
Tara: What are you most excited about in being involved with this event?
Tyler: I love being a part of a somewhat rebellious event. Instead of Valentine’s Day, we are celebrating being active and being a part of each other’s lives.
Tyler is pumped to see you all this evening, and get you into some sweet Saucony shoes at the Brainsport Run and Beer Night. Photo supplied
Tara: Tell us more about the Saucony shoe give away. Will people be taking home a new pair of Saucony's tonight?
Tyler: The plan is to award some Saucony Technical shoes as a prize to runners. The idea is for them to win a shoe and get their choice from the models carried by Brainsport. They can get shoes that night, or they can choose to redeem their certificate later.
Tara: Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Tyler: The shoes Saucony has to try all have EVERUN cushioning. EVERUN is Saucony’s premium cushioning material that lasts longer, has unparalleled responsiveness, and is cushioning that adapts to your stride and your needs.

- Has a full EVERUN midsole and topsole which provides cushioning that lasts longer, provides unmatched energy return and cushioning that adapts to you the runner.
- Just enough stability to take you to any distance without sacrificing performance.
- Fit and Feel, the Liberty ISO has hit the mark on both points.
