Wascana Trails


 


Known by locals as Wascana Trails, this Wascana Valley Nature Recreation Site boasts 15km of trails designed for hiking and biking enthusiasts of all levels.

All trails are marked and feature breathtaking views of the Qu'Appelle Valley and a variety of challenges such as gradual hills, sharp and winding descents and steep climbs. The trails west of Wascana Creek are accessible from the bridge, near the parking lot. Washrooms are available at the site's trailhead and ample parking is provided. You are likely to encounter wildlife such as deer along the trails. During the winter you will find Snowshoers and cross-country skiers using the ungroomed trails as well as many on tobogins and carpet sliders.

Take note that No motorized vehicles, including snowmobiles, are allowed.

Driving directions from Regina

From Regina: approximately 10km NW on Hwy 11 to Exit A at Condie Nature Refuge, then 10km W.

From Lumsden: approximately 14km S via Grid 734.
